Challenge: Develop packaging for a third-generation product to be launched in a competitive consumer electronics retail marketplace.
Solution: Created packaging that attracted attention and communicated—at a glance—the brand and unique product attributes. To counter the ubiquitous Apple look-a-like white packaging, selected black, which also allowed the orange product color to pop.
Challenge: Create a single point-of-sale display that attracts attention, clearly communicates the value proposition, and has a footprint that can accommodate placement in any size retail location.
Solution: In collaboration with our vendor, developed a modular three-piece point-of-purchase display that could stand tall in “big box” retailers or be broken down to sit on shelves or countertops in smaller stores. The display featured a 23″ flatscreen TV, acrylic display case and a locking security feature to keep the product safe.
Challenge: Create a user guide for a third generation consumer electronic product that clearly explains/illustrates a complex product.
Solution: Employed line drawings resulting in simple and easy to understand visuals. Conducted extensive user testing to ensure the guide’s effectiveness.
